SmartwatchesASUS recently revealed its new smartwatch, the ZenWatch, at the IFA in Berlin, and it’s one of the best-looking smartwatches on the market. The ZenWatch is the company’s first Android Wear smartwatch. Its price is significantly lower than competing smartwatches released by Samsung and LG.

It is clear from looking at the watch that the goal was to create something that is aesthetically pleasing in hopes of appealing to people who normally buy luxury watches. Its stylish stainless steel case and brown Italian leather wristband make it look more like a fashionable watch than a gadget.

The ZenWatch will not be available for purchase in the United States and a few other markets until October. The watch will only feature a single size and needs to be paired with an Android phone to be functional. This smartwatch does not have standalone wireless capabilities. It boasts a curved square face, setting it apart from most of the other smartwatches on the market, which tend to use a round face. The strap on the watch will be swappable to further customize the experience.

At the moment, ASUS does not have much competition when it comes to stylish Android Wear watches. The Moto 360 and LG G Watch R could prove to be its strongest competitors. The specs of the new ASUS watch are similar to those of other similar smartwatches: 512MB of RAM with 4 GB of storage, the Android Wear operating system, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.2 GHz CPU.
